In March 2011, Tim Ensign thanked Mountain People’s Organic Wine & Beer Distribution for 9 great years of employment and stepped away from his position as Sales Manager to start his own Brand Management company, Powered By Yeast. Tim was excited to apply his extensive experience in craft alcohol beverage sales and distribution to help champion a select number of brands he felt passionate about. In June 2012, Powered By Yeast was ready to expand. Jana Daisy-Ensign joined her husband, also concluding 6 years of employment with Mountain People’s Distribution as a Sales Representative. Tim and Jana, with a long history of working together in many varied capacities truly make a dynamic team. The couple have enjoyed furthering the presence of their brands together and are now excited to announce new horizons for 2013.

In the New Year, Tim will be devoting his efforts full time to Fort George Brewery of Astoria, Oregon as their El Jefe of Sales & Distribution. His enthusiasm for Fort George and this new opportunity can not be overstated. Powered By Yeast Brand Management will continue under Jana’s direction in a slightly slimmed down capacity. Jana will continue to proudly represent Natural Merchants Organic Wine selections and Redstone Meadery. Tim and Jana are thankful for having had the opportunity to work with the notable import beers and ciders of Artisanal Imports and (formerly) SBS Imports. The couple looks forward to continuing to share their passion for craft beverages in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
